Do not be Lead Astray by False Teachings

* Be aware that there are teachings out there that may sound...
good,
or hip,cool, or may even be popular,but are still incorrect.

*Remember the warnings in Galatians,Colossians,II Peter,I Peter, and elsewhere in the Bible about looking out for false teachings,and teachers "disguised as sheep" that are really "wolves" on the inside.
* Remember to test the spirits to see if they are really from God or not.
* Do not bless false teachers or invite them into your home.
* Do not argue with them.
*Do not send, or give them money.
* Do give them gospel tracts,or share your testimony with them!
* Do pray for them!
* Do warn others about them!
* Do memorize Scripture passages that discuss the truth about God,Jesus,the Holy Spirit, salvation,sin,spiritual growth,heaven,hell,the tribulation period,the second coming of Christ, the millennium kingdom, the judgment seat of Christ,the ten commandments,the fruits of the Spirit, the armor of God,the body of Christ,the resurrection of the dead in Christ,the resurrection of Christ,the creation,the universal flood,Jesus earthly ministry,future crowns, and rewards,the book of Philippians,all the passages in Galatians, I & II Peter,Ephesians,I & II Thessalonians,Titus,and so on.
*Do read the Bible!
*Do sing songs to praise God!
* Do not pray to dead ancestors,or other dead people.
* Do not pray to idols of wood,stone,gold, or silver.
* Do not pray to anyone or anything,other than God himself!
* Do not have a part in infant baptism.
* Do not listen to those who teach works for salvation, or add or take away from the truths of the Bible.
